General Architectural Services

At the root of any successful construction project is a team of architects providing meticulous attention to detail and a hands-on approach. At Pascal Architects, our architectural design services focus on the building envelope in its entirety, with an emphasis on historic preservation for commercial and public space buildings. These landmark structures play an indelible role in the identity of the cities and cultures to which they belong, and it is our mission to restore them with integrity and accuracy.

Our Design Philosophy

We are investigative in every aspect of our architectural approach. Using forensic analysis and on-site research, we will get to the root problems of the current built environment in order to design a solution that allows your business to operate more efficiently and according to code. The scope of our work includes all aspects of the building envelope, such as the roofing, subterranean elements, windows and doors, and the exterior restoration of the curtain wall, masonry, stone, and terracotta. By marrying historic elements that tell the story of the building with modern amenities that your customers and occupants expect, we can improve the energy efficiency of the building, update mechanical systems, and ensure that all life safety systems are code compliant. Moreover, a principal architect is actively involved in every project, which allows us to give your design the personal attention that it deserves.

A Diverse Portfolio of Architecture Experience

As a mid-sized firm with offices in New Orleans and New York, your project will benefit from the expertise of our highly experienced licensed architects, in collaboration with our skilled project managers, licensed engineers, and administrative staff. Our architects have contributed to the preservation and restoration of some of New Orleans’ most iconic buildings, including a member of the original design team for the Louisiana Superdome. Our team also contributed to the restoration of the historic Spanish Baroque style architecture of The Cabildo building, which now houses the Louisiana State Museum, as well as the restoration of the roof on one of the Lower Pontalba apartment buildings originally designed by the famed architects James Gallier and Henry Howard. We’ve also completed projects across the country for retail and hospitality clients, as well as corporate offices, indoor and outdoor event spaces, government agencies, and renovations to the iconic Tiger Stadium on LSU’s campus.
